Possible Deal for someone... Driv3r

I dont personally want the game, but i figure someone might want it for that cheap and can get something else and get 15% off their order

I actually picked this up today, because I had some credit left over (from trading in $1 TRU games), so 1 copy of Parappa 2 or Mad Maestro gets you a copy of Driv3r for $1.05 because that's how much I paid for those TRU games I traded in for $7.50 credit a pop (and I still have some credit left over, haha)!

So it's actually a good way for someone to turn store credit at FYE into some cash. For example, go up to TRU and get some $1 games and trade them in up to $25-$30 worth of FYE credit, then go buy Driv3r and mail in that rebate. After you add up whatver you paid for your TRU games (prolly less then $5) then you can see how much it cost you to buy Driv3r and you turned FYE credit of lets say $26.50 (1 copy of Parappa 2 ($7.50), 2 copies of Mad Maestro ($15), and 1 copy of ejay clubworld ($4) at my FYE) into real cash for another game you might want. Of course gett then store credit to $25 pays off what you will get back in real money from the rebate and if you get enough for the whole game then that means you didn't even have to pay $4.99 for it either! :)

I doubt it will be all that different, plus it'll be a while before you can find it at $5.

Um, if you use the 15% off coupon... Wouldn't it be 15% off of $29.99?

Um... so... that's $4.50 off the price of the game... Which means, after the $25 rebate.... You end up with the game for under $1????

And people are hesitating to buy the game!?

Damn.... I just realized some bastard is going to read this and buy them alll out and trade them in for store credit before someone who legitimately wants it has the chance to buy a copy. IF SOMEONE DOES THAT BECAUSE OF READING THIS POST, I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I ABSOLUTELY HATE YOU WITH ALL OF MY HEART.

I haven't tried it, but logically, that should be how it goes. Sorry I can't be of more help. Can anyone confirm one way or the other?? (I too am super-paranoid about credit card numbers on the internet, that's why I haven't jumped on this deal...)

It was $9.99 used with free shipping at Gamefly for a while..

And yeah, the PC version is supposed to be massively improved. Or something. But I doubt it.

it says on fye.com's front page that the code cannot be applied to gift cards, game software and game hardware. best of luck to the peeps who are trying to use the code though. :)
