Not sure if this is kosher, as I'm not even sure if my prediction is correct, but I'm guessing that Amazon is going to have the FIFA World Cup 2010 game on sale at 5pm PDT, 8pm EST.

Be nice if it was the PS3 version of 2010 as I just bought it and would love to return it and get it for a cheaper price.

But it'll probably be the world cup version and it will PROBABLY be NDS or PSP. :( (Already have World Cup 2010 on PSP)
 
What is the speculation on the deal before that? Slip, slide, save?

I hope there is a deal for the game other than just the handhelds.

Thanks for that info sir. That Best Buy ad that is stickied makes it seem like it's only for Wii.

Now I just need to figure out if this game has good online play, with just straight heads up ranked matches without doing the whole tournament. Any thoughts on the online? I originally was lead to believe this didn't have online so I was looking more at Fifa 10, because of more teams to play with too. But if I could get this for $40 new I guess I'd have to pull the trigger so I can get my Fifa fix. Even better is that I can just go to the store and not have to wait for shipping!! That's it I'm going!!!

I haven't tried it myself, but I've always heard great things about FIFA games online. It has the most played sports game you know. I bought it for $40 a couple weeks ago and I do not regret my decision. Difficult, yes, but well worth it.
 
anyone have this on 360? i have it on ps3 and keep losing connection to the servers and it drives me crazy. i might be willing to double dip if it actually works online
 
I just bought it for XBOX360 after another poster stated it was on sale at Best Buy. I've only played one game online so far. The first game the guy didn't want to wait for me to set my squad so he left. Now I have it preset so that shouldn't be a problem.

The first game ran great. It said my opponents connection quality was perfect like mine. The only time it got laggy was when the ball was crossing the line to go into my net. I guess it's like getting ready to cut to a celebration and it lagged when the goal was scored. While playing though there was no lag for me.

I'll be playing more games as soon as I'm done with dinner and I'll update you if there are any issues.
