Post Labor-Day Car Rebates/Sales

I'm planning on buying my first car soon! However, I noticed that a lot of the deals end 9/2, the day after Labor Day. Anyone know any places I can find information about future deals and what they are?

The only reason the current deals are ending after Labor Day is to make room for the Thanksgiving sales that will end right before the next sale starts.

To phrase it in the double-negative: there will never not be a car deal around every corner.

For your first car, the best deal would be to get a low-mileage 2-year-oldish used car from a dealership that was traded in by guy-who-obviously-must-have-a-brand-new-car-way-too-soon-before-they-actually-need-one. The whole rebate/sale thing is for new car suckers.
