Brain Age 2
Metroid Prime Pinball
Picross DS

Impossible Mission

There may be 1 other game of mine that my kids have at the moment, but I'm not sure. I've, of course, owned other games that I've since sold/traded.

Currently I've been playing Pac-Pix again, which has to be one of the most underrated DS games IMHO. Pac-Pix, like EBA/Ouendan, is a game I find myself wanting to convince others to play. If you give it a chance I think you'll find that it's a really fantastic game, but it may not be obvious from the first several levels - give the game some time. I had gotten stuck at level 10, but finally broke through when I started playing again recently and just today beat the 12th level. I'm now starting "Book II" and man is it tough! Great game!
Please tell me you got deals on those games.
thanks to CAG, i did in fact get quite a few good deals on plenty of these games.

Second row from the bottom

Not listed: DS Download carts and "Not for Resale" Demos and stuff, which would bring my total to around 150 or so.

To those prospective collectors looking for a tip on what's going to be worth money in the future, here's Charlie's tips.

*BEWARE OF COUNTERFEITS* I strongly advise using caution with ebay.

-Electroplankton is likely going to be quite valuable. It might not be the rarest game for the machine when the DS is retired, but it will be in the top 1% in value. Beware though: Nintendo has been known to order another printing of a game when Ebay prices go up. They did it with Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix on the Gamecube.

-Sealed first party games going for some good bucks on Ebay does not mean the games themselves are rare. Quite frankly anyone who would pay $80 for Pokemon Dash is off their rocker.

-Nintendo DS Browser is not going to be rare. It will be what's known as "uncommon", around a 4 out of 10 or a 3 out of 10 in rarity. Do not over pay for this thing. It's been discontinued, but it was still printed in pretty high numbers.

-A game that could very well likely fetch a lot of money in the future is still available. It's called "LOL: Never Party Alone" by Agetec. It's only for sale from their online store and seems to have been printed in low numbers. It's still for sale months after it's release because, quite frankly, nobody is buying it. But speculation is less then 5,000 copies (possibly as few as 2,000) were made.

Get it before it's gone. Because I doubt there will be a reprint.

And pretty much if you are buying on eBay, steer clear of any DS games coming out of Hong Kong or China period.

Otherwise you can just throw the game away after youre done with it, cause thats all it is really worth.
I collect games to play them ^___^
I will use the same joke I used in the Gamecube Collection thread...

It's no different then collecting baseball cards. Only collecting baseball cards officially makes you a homosexual. Hear me out...

If you're a child, it's okay to collect cards. They're precious keepsakes of your heroes.

If you're an adult, they're pictures of MEN.

Besides, if you use Cheapassgamer correctly, you can get games for cheaper then a pack of baseball cards these days.

Phoenix Wright
Some Pokemon game
...and one more

But man...WHY and how do people have so many games. Have you actually beaten every one? If I was you guys I'd put out a flyer opening up my own rental place. (Although everyone would probably steal ) Pretty crazy though...I bet I've only actually owned like 50 games total haha.

I actually do have a rental system for all my friends and family and I have a logging system for it too, lol. I can only play so many games at one time, so might as well make use of the games I dont play.

So do they actually pay you? That'd be pretty sweet then :p

i have friends come over often and ask me if they can borrow some of my games. they usually ask me for ones that are sealed haha, but i will lend my already opened ones as well.

and i think collecting games is fun. it's one of those things that you can do, actively go look for new sealed copies of games that you're looking for, no matter where you go. when i travel to other states, i often drop in different video game stores and gamestops to see if i can find one (i found a sealed etrian odyssey on one such trip).

I'm almost ashamed to post my meager DS collection after that epic list, but then I've only had my DS about 6 months:

Chrono Trigger
Dragon Quest IV
Final Fantasy III
Final Fantasy IV
Final Fantasy Tactics A2
Ninjatown
Suikoden Teirkreis
New Super Mario Brothers

I'd expect that to expand a good deal over the next year, however.

I bought my DS at the end of October last year :D....I have a problem ~_~....
-A game that could very well likely fetch a lot of money in the future is still available. It's called "LOL: Never Party Alone" by Agetec. It's only for sale from their online store and seems to have been printed in low numbers. It's still for sale months after it's release because, quite frankly, nobody is buying it. But speculation is less then 5,000 copies (possibly as few as 2,000) were made.
http://www.agetec.com/LOLgame/store.htm

Get it before it's gone. Because I doubt there will be a reprint.
I really don't want to burst anybody's bubble with this... I saw at least half a dozen copies of LOL at my local Wal-Mart for $10 each not an hour ago. I can't see a game as supposedly rare as LOL popping up in multiple quantities on a Wal-Mart bargain endcap if there were between 2000 and 5000 copies made.

To answer the original reason for the topic, I have in the range of 80 DS games. The clamshell cases for all of my games are packed in three boxes for now, since I hope to move in the next 3 or 4 months. One quirk I have with my DS collection is that I have all of the manuals saved outside of the cases, in chronological order of purchase date.

Yeah, there was a thread in this section about LOL and how its found in stores etc. Its somewhere around this DS/GBA section still

I'm still kicking myself for not picking up Phoenix Wright at $10 clearanced at Toys R Us last year. That's Metroid Fusion on the end in a custom case I got from the person I trade with for it on Goozex.

I've only increased by 5 games in the last two months. Up to 65. Been picking up stuff for other consoles lately and all the Gamestops/resale shops in my area don't have games that I already don't have. It's been slim pickin's

Not too big even though I've had my DS since the DS Lite came out, but mostly play casual games and RPG's on it. But i just upgraded to a DSi and picked up a 3 new games from the B2G1 from GS, and GTA: Chinatown Wars is En Route from Best Buy.
