Damn, with this list I realize how much I love my 360. Tons of GREAT, GREAT games I've played that didn't even come close to making the list; Assassin's Creed, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, Ninja Gaiden 2, SF4...I could keep going on and on.
 
Yea I recently started playing my 360 again after a long break. Gonna check out what other people enjoy to help guide my search for good games.

This lists are always hard because the top few games are easy, but 5-10 gets hard because the mind fades on how much fun you had with a game, and you sometimes remember the newer games better than a game you played 2 years ago.

1: Fallout 3. Easy choice

2: Mass Effect. Another easy choice

3: Bioshock

4: Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Multiplayer really helped this one.

5: Dead Space. This game was almost addicting.

6: Saints Row 2. Say what you want, this game was FUN

7: Lost Odyssey. I am a RPG whore.

8: Halo 3.

9: Far Cry 2. Maybe the one game that most would think does not belong on this list, but I loved the game, with all its flaws.

10: Assassins Creed.

I've only played 13 retail games; so I plan on using some XBLA titles to round out my list.

1. Dead Rising - 600/1000 - I bought my 360 because of this game.

2. Call of Duty 4 - 1000/1000 - Great campaign and great multiplayer.

3. The Orange Box - 910/1000 - So many great games; it was worth every penny.

4. Gears of War - 1250/1250 - I hated it at first but it grew on me when I gave it a second chance.

5. Call of Duty 2 - 1000/1000 - Never got into the multiplayer; I was burnt out after beating the Veteran campaign.

6. Carcassonne - 200/200 - I play this game everyday. Thanks for the free game MS.

7. Left 4 Dead - 960/1000 - I have a weakness for Zombies, even the fast moving ones. Not sure how much I'll play it when I hit 1000/1000 but it has been fun.

8. Halo 3 - 1500/1750 - I bought it at launch. It was fun but I think my expectations were to high.

9. Bioshock - 90/1100 - I really need to revisit this game; it seems like it has been stuck in my backlog forever. It should be higher on my list but I haven't given it the attention it deserves.

10. Castle Crashers - 160/200 - Even with all the bugs it had at launch it still makes my top ten.

Wow, Fallout 3 at #7 :shock:
 
Out of the 120odd games I've played, here are the 10 I've enjoyed the most.

1. Fallout 3. (2 playthroughs of 60+hrs. most played single player game by a long stretch)

2. Bioshock (abs loved the eerie atmosphere. was so engrossed that I was playing the game in my dreams)

3. The Orange Box (Hadn't played a half-life game prior to this. ended up buying all the previous episodes on pc after playing through the game)

4. Call of Duty 4 (Didn't play much MP but the campaign is good enough to warrant a high spot)

5. Elder Scroll IV: Oblivion (Ate away big chunks of my day. Once I inserted the disc in my system, the next thing I know I lost 2-3hrs of my life)

6. GTAIV (Got old towards the end but had a blast through 75% of the game. Also had the single greatest mission I've ever played '- Three leaf clover')

7. Call of Duty WaW (got hooked onto the MP. Only game in which I didn't suck at online)

8. Left 4 Dead (only wish they had more campaings)

9. Dead Rising (had a very frustrating save system but it worked in the game)

10. Assassin's Creed (flawed and repetetive but the building scalling and combat makes up)

The game definitely isn't for everybody, the style is so non-Western that it's tough for many to wrap their heads around it. I for one really enjoyed it, but probably won't ever touch it again after my first playthrough.

I love beating up zombies as well, but something about the game didn't click for me. It just felt a little clunky for me.
 
1. BioShock - Never thought i'd spend so much time with an FPS without a multiplayer.
2. Oblivion - So much things to do, didn't need another game for like a 6 month period.
3. Halo 3 - Didn't disappoint especially with co-op campaign and ability to forge.
4. Midnight Club LA - Loved Midnight Club 3 and fell in love with this one as well. Cruising around the city (with friends) is just so damn fun.
5. Dead Space - Scary and addictive. If there was a top 10 favorite weapons on the 360, the cutter is surely my number 1.
6. Dark Sector - Using the glaive was so damn fun. Overall, the gameplay was great, just wish the story was better.
7. Lost Odyssey - The Dream sequences were awesome and had some really great stories. I just wished Disc 3 didn't drag so long.
8. Geometry Wars - Most addictive game i've played. Whether I was trying to hit a million or get a better score than my friend, I played this game A LOT.
9. Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - Very addicting game. I've played BB on the Xbox before, but it never gets old even on a second playthrough.
10. Test Drive Unlimited - Driving around Hawaii was loads of fun. The Massively Open Online Racing was an interesting addition as well.

So in case anyone was interested in which games got the most votes, here is the tally.
With series of games (like Gears of War, Halo, Call of Duty, etc) I just counted one vote per person. So if Gears of War 1 and 2 were in your top 10, it only counted as 1 vote toward the Gears series. I dunno, I'm bored and waiting for XBL to come back up do it your way if you don't like it!
