Potential better deal for SSB:B than TRU's and CC's (Buy.com + GCO promo)

CAGiversary!
First deal post, go easy on me. Ah, and you might want to stop reading now if you want the game on release date and can't be bothered with returns. I know I would not be reading this post - my spring break just started, and I want this game at release date. I also want a classic controller, so I'm off to CC on Sunday. Also, this is not the $10 GCO sign-up bonus, so if you came into this thread to thread crap, you might as well stop reading too ;).

I got an email from Google Checkout that says $20 off your next purchase of $80 or more, valid up to 3/14. You may have to check your spam folder to find this email. I don't understand how Gmail managed to get its own mail in the spam folder. Anyway, this is a great alternative deal to TRU's. There is free shipping on both games and a possible 0% sales tax. With TRU, you only save $15 if you're going for Zack & Wiki and still must pay sales tax.

SSB:B = 49.99
Z&W = 28.99

Only issue is that it is slightly under $80. I would add something cheap with free shipping. Or you can use a different game. Here's one of the cheapest and even useful items I could find, but you may do better:

Power Strip

$64.97 total shipped. You might have to wait for release date or day after before you can actually place your order though. I know the $10 off first time GCO doesn't work on pre-orders. You can also always return the items you get from Buy.com to TRU if you absolutely must have it on release date.

Naturally, you can use $20 off $80 on other things too. It's just that I'm sure SSB:B is at the top of many CAG's minds at the moment.

When I tried adding the preorder for brawl to my cart, it said google checkout wasnt allowed for it, so you might have to wait til the day the game is out to make an order.

Just as I thought. :) Thanks for the confirmation.
can we thread crap now? lol
Why so rude, That's a good deal.

It's not bad, although some don't consider GCO a deal. But there is a thread for SSB:B deals. Why not use it?

If you're going to make a separate thread for the $20 off $80 GCO offer (which is good for existing GCO customers, not just first-timers), you might as well mention the $10 off any 1st order GCO, and the $50 off any purchase of $51 or more with that shady revolution CC at Buy.com as well...

WHOA WHOA WHOA....

What $50 off with purchase of $51 or more deal???

If you end up a few cents short like I did, you can add this DVD to your cart to put you over.

Cheapest thing I could find through my quick search. After shipping, I came out with a total of $66.66.

I look at it as - 49.99 - 10 = Brawl for 39.99, 29.99 - 10 = 19.99 for RRR, & 6.68 for the DVD so I'm content with that because they were all things I wanted anyway. (yeah the third turtles movie sucked, but I had the other two on DVD so I wanted the complete set)
