I'm just curious as to what songs/verses have brought out a physical emotion in you.. anger, sadness, whatever.. what's a verse or song that you related two? I've got two..
Ben Folds Five - Brick (can relate, minus the whole abortion thing)
And the one song that's "moved" me.. not sure if it brought out sadness or anger, but if you're religious, I wouldn't read this song.. I highly recommend downloading Sarah McLachlan's version, XTC's version isn't nearly as emotional.. "Dear God" by Sarah McLachlan just might be the most controversial song you'll never hear.. unless you find it for download of course.. i'll link to the full lyrics but i'll quote the part that had me like ""

Such a disturbing song.. and it's even odder that it was Sarah McLachlan who covered it, I thought she was a big Christian or something..
Ben Folds Five - Brick (can relate, minus the whole abortion thing)
As weeks went by
It showed that she was not fine
They told me son it’s time
To tell the truth
And she broke down and I broke
Down
’cause I was tired of lying
Driving back to her apartment
For the moment we’re alone
She’s alone
And I’m alone
Now I know it
And the one song that's "moved" me.. not sure if it brought out sadness or anger, but if you're religious, I wouldn't read this song.. I highly recommend downloading Sarah McLachlan's version, XTC's version isn't nearly as emotional.. I won't believe in heaven and hell
no saints no sinners no devil as well
no pearly gate no thorny crown
you're always letting us humans down
the wars you bring
the babes you drown
those lost at sea and never found
and it's all the same the whole world round
the hurt I see helps to compound
That Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
is just somebody's unholy hoax
Such a disturbing song.. and it's even odder that it was Sarah McLachlan who covered it, I thought she was a big Christian or something..
