Pre-order 3 Games (360/PS3) $179, get $50 gift card, B2G1 Plat Hits at Walmart

Is this B2G1 PH deal some kind of joke?

Choose Your 1st Game Fable 2 - Game of the Year Edition (Xbox 360) (+$16.91)

Choose Your 2nd Game
Mass Effect (Xbox 360) (+$16.91)

Choose Your Free Platinum Hits Game
Saints Row 2 (Xbox 360) (+$17.05)

Soooo...my "free" game costs $17 and my grand total is $89.87 (before tax). The same 3 games in my Amazon cart without any promotion or sale is $59.97.

:headache:
Bothered me too... if this was an Amazon deal I'd definitely bite but a Walmart eGift Card is useless to me.
Agreed. Maybe this will kick off another one of these online retailer wars. Hopefully they'll eventually drag Newegg in, they're the only place I like to buy games from online that doesn't charge me 9.5% tax!
Wal-Mart is such a bad company, I hope you all realize that. Their HQ in Bentonville is literally a fort with concrete barriers.

Importing consumer goods from China has significant negative long term consequences.

Just have self discipline and buy only what you need, and always look for Made in USA products.
Well, buying only "Made in USA" products will mean you have to end your videogame hobby, as NONE of them are made in the USA (unless you count programming of western developers, who still get the physical product made in either mexico, canada, or china).

You're also implying that products made in the USA are somehow superior, when that's not always the case. I've bought some things from China that were very good quality, and things from the US that were very poor quality. Not to mention that things made in the USA a generally more expensive than most other parts of the world, so if you only buy USA, then you literally could never be a Cheap Ass Gamer.
