Predictions for 2008

I just read the following on CNN today:

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/11/04/2008.race.ap/index.html

It seems there is already a beginning of polictical maneuvering for 2008. As I predicted, Hillary Clinton is prominent on the list. The democrats need someone who can carry the Kerry/Gore states plus a couple of southern states like Bill Clinton managed to do. John Edwards is also considered a possibility. The list for the Republicans is long. Personally, I would like to see John McCain run for president.

Sen. Chris Dodd is trading at 13 to be the presidential nominee, next highest after Hillary.

Who is this guy?

I've wanted McCain in office since 2000. As for Hilary all I have to say is should she be elected it's off to Canada for me.

Actually I like a strong woman but Hilary is bloody intimidating and she's SO blunt it's scary. She's too much power manuevers and has NO finesse.
It's like electing Dr.Laura to President but she doesn't share the same views. Yes I'm being a bit of a pig but Hilary just...fine, she's a man hater. I mean I respect some men being put in their place but...
Aw fuck it I ain't getting into this. Bottom line, her husband was charming, even if he was sleezy. She could learn a thing or two from her husband. If she picked it up and did it right and potentially didn't alienate the strong women she might be sitting pretty and all of ya'll would be surprised.
P.S. Even if Hilary was a man her tactics might seem a bit too strong. But being she's a woman makes it even worse.
Hillary Clinton v Rudy Giuliani, with Rudy winning. Or if they change the laws perhaps Arnold will run (shudder), but they won't so no worries.
Rudy would be a good choice, however you are forgetting the entire primary process that knocked out McCain. The republican party has been overrun by evangelical christians. I highly doubt Rudy could ever win enough of the evangelical vote to win a presidential election much less the primaries where the evangelicals would be a higher percentage of the vote.

Like McCain I don't see Rudy jumping ship to run on an independent ticket either.

Who cares?

Bush is still in his first appointed term and we are talking about 4 years from now?

And I doubt Hilary would win, I wouldn't vote for her, not because she is a women but because she is a wacko.
