Forget the 2 day shipping, if your a prime member you can get FREE day of release shipping on most games :D

If the AC2 promo is still live by the time I get the promo credit from ODST, that will do enough to push me over into pre-order instead of waiting for the first drop. I'll hope for a quick picks appearance between now and then though.
 
got an email back from amazon today when I asked about my MW2 order, I placed it about 2 days before the 10 dollar giftcard was offered, the ybasically said for the 10 dollar giftcard you had to order during the period not before or after. Not really suprised but still a little disappointed that they want me to cancel my order and reorder it and they wouldnt just throw me in for the promotion as I already had it preordered.

Not sure if the wording has changed, but the current promo now says "This offer will be extended to all existing pre-orders". Sounds to me like you should have got the credit, but like I said, this may be new.

Does that mean for only that certain game or all preorders existing now? (Tekken 6, COD: MW2, etc.)
 
Okay, aplogize for being a total noob to buying games on amazon, but, well, how do you preorder? You just add it to your cart? Cuz I added several games to my cart but they all still said "available for preorder", like this:

Fallout 3: Game of The Year Edition - Bethesda; Video Game
Condition: New
Available for Pre-order

Am I retarded or something? I didn't see anything else basically telling me firmly "click here to preorder", except "Pre-order - Add to Cart", and of course that took me to the cart, as I mentioned in my previous sentence

Color me confused :whistle2:?

You just checkout like you bought a normal game. So you add it to your cart and checkout. Amazon needs your payment info and confirmation you really want it just like every other retailer.
 
eca coupon don't seem to be applying to me. Says "We're sorry, but the promotional code you entered cannot be applied to this purchase. Please refer to your promotional coupon for information about item or store restrictions.". I was going to return my buy.com order or sell it on ebay so I can take advantage of amazon's deal.
Oh well though, I already preordered at $52 from buy.com, which isn't that much more (if the eca coupon doesn't work).
