Preordering from amazon using a debit card?

I have a question if a preorder a game from amazon using a debit card do they charge you right away or preauthorize you debit card/bank account for the amount, i'm worry they they will take away a credit bonus for a certain game i want to buy?

they charge you when it ships, doesn't matter if its credit or debit. if theres no money in your bank when they ship it, they just wont ship it then.
