Just stopped by my local Eb Games today and found the Limited Collector's Edition of Prey for just $20. The tin case is pretty cool, although the pewter figures are really small.

One thing I really hate is the fact that the disc came in no case! Argh

You could always BUY a case... this is a good deal (although the 360 version is superior IMO) nonetheless. Is this only at your EB/GS?

I've been thinking about picking up the PC version, just because I prefer the k/m control setup. Why do you say the 360 version is superior?

PC > XB360

Even microsoft admitted the xbox is just a rip off of a PC. Might as well build a pc instead, you'll learn something.

I need some more cash so I can pick up Prey. :whistle2:D

I just dropped in to see if it was noted that BB had these as mentioned in this thread (and probably elsewhere).

But I think you are oversimplifying a little. We all know that some games have treated PC versions as last-gen compared to 360 titles. Why? Who knows.

So YMMV, and definitely not "PC > X360" across the board. That being said, I played both demos of Prey (PC and 360), and even on a mid-range system I thought it looked better on PC. Gamespot has a good feature comparing screen shots from different levels of PCs vs 360.

It all comes down to your computer. I own both versions (PC one as a gift after I already had the 360 version), and found that it ran much more smoothly on my 360. But hey, its probably cause I am using technology from 2006. IMO, if you have an above decent gaming computer, go with that version. If you have a so-so gaming computer, the 360 version is the way to go. Also, if you decide to go with the 360 version, check in one of the other threads as there is a 10 dollar off coupon for 360 games 40 bux and over at BB (not sure of the price at this exact time, but it could help).
Thanks, I might pick this up, the Best Buy version for $15 after $5 off coupon.
Where exactly are you guys getting this $5 off coupon for PC games? Are you talking about the gamers gift cards? Because if you are, my BB has not had those for months.

I really want to buy Prey, and $20 is a great price none the less.

See the coupon pack thread that should be near the top of the forum. Its not the GGC, but the BB I happened to be in yesterday did have them with current coupons. First time I'd seen them in probably a year.
