Holy mama, sweet! Glad I waited... I was looking forward to the collection on PSN as a bundle, but the discs are better, thanks for the info!

Ah, but when the disc comes out, the PSN downloads probably are going to be on sale :lol: (or a special bundle price or maybe additional savings for those already own one or two games).

About what I paid for it. I'd wait for it to hit $30. Shouldn't take long, since it's Ubisoft.

Ubisoft announced the retail release dates for the Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia Trilogy releases:

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy HD and Prince of Persia Classic Trilogy HD each combine three full-length games onto one Blu-Ray disc: Splinter Cell®, Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow® and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory® will be bundled together for the first time while the three Prince of Persia titles, Prince of Persia The Sands of Time™, Prince of Persia Warrior Within® and Prince of Persia The Two Thrones® will also share a disc. The trilogies will be made available to consumers in retail stores on March 22, 2011 for an MSRP of $39.99 each and as a digital bundle on the PlayStation®Network.

For Splinter Cell, sure.

I hope that the SC release is better than the PoP release (where I have to disable my internet connection or else the game freezes like it's the next big dance craze).

I wouldn't expect much since this is Ubisoft we're talking about. They don't seem to put much effort, if any, into QA in anything they make.

I'm more curious if they were dumb enough to use the PS2 versions for the SC collection.

Well I still saved $8 off the US retail by importing it.
