Prince of Persia + Target Raincheck Q

Ok, first of all I was wondering if anyone knows where i can get prince of persia on xbox for $14.99 and under. (Note: I cannot use GGC as my BB does not have them anymore, I also tried the XBL -$5 and they wouldn't except that either)

Secondly, I have quite a few target rainchecks and was wondering if you can use them even if the game you have them for is back in stock.
 
I've seen it at least one EBGames B&M for $12.99 recently. Gamestop B&M might have it for $9.99, as I picked it up online for that price recently.

Another option might be TRU, though some people have had problems with getting it, as it seemed to be on the 50% off sale for some versions and not others, plus it seemed like it disappeared off the sale.

You still should be able to use the raincheck on PoP, even if it's in stock, though I'd recommend having the copy of PoP taken to the front checkout lanes and deal with it there, for minimum hassle.
 
What do you mean they wouldn't accept the XBL coupon? It is their coupon. What reason did they give?

Honestly, I don't mean this as rude, but if you can't be assertive enough to make BB accept their own valid coupon, then you will probably not have too much luck with the raincheck substitution.
 
When I used the XBL coupon they said that tons of people have been using them on games that really aren't xbox live games. So I pointed out the XBL tag on the game, and they called the manager. The manager said that they only accept that if they online multiplay is checked on the back of the game. I then asked where on the coupon it says anything about that, and they replyed with "we can't give you the $5 off, if you want to make a complaint go right ahead but we can't give you the money off"

anyway on another note the raincheck is not for PoP it is a 47% driver 3 RC, and I don't want to use it on PoP I want to use it on Fable when they get it in.
 
That manager sounds like an ass. Usually the Target Raincheck thing works because right on it it says you may make a substitution, but again, some managers are dicks.
 
I would gone off and said "YOU KNOW WHAT? fuck YOU! AND FOR YOUR fuckEN STORE.!" then as you walk out say "fuck YOU!" to every BB employee you see. Haha, that would have been classic cause you'd be back there next week ;)
 
If BB makes their XBL coupon too vague, then piss on them. Have their legal people whine about it before they put out a coupon.

The only time I've used the $5 XBL coupon is for $20 XBL titles, and right now, that's been a little scarce.

They look at it oddly when I use it, so I go through the following explanation:

"Software for an XBox would be a game, right? Therefore, any title that says it's XBL Online Enabled would be a XBL title, right? So, by that, this game falls under the $5 coupon I have right here."

Usually they blink their eyes a few times and eventually get it.

BB doesn't have GGC? What? I don't get it.

XBL coupon is for XBL games (duh!) Prince of persia didn't have online features.

Target won't let you use rainchecks for substitutions if the game you have on the sub is in stock. Also...they will check because they'd have to get the game out of the case and pay for it in the electronic dept.

My BB pulled the GGC because to many people were taking advantage of them. Thankfully when I went to the BB while I was 2 towns over they still had them and I got it for $15

As for XBL coupon I know its for XBL games because of the giant sign right across the front of Prince of Persia that says "Xbox Live Enabled"

As for Target Rainchecks I thought you couldn't use them at different targets than the one you got them at. Anyway I took them to a target where my friend works, and he let me use it despite the rainchecked game being in stock.
 
I'd like to second everyone's take on target rainchecks...very YMMV... I got a 44% FFX-2 raincheck (which was mentioned a few weeks ago) and later went back to use it on Pikmin 2. FFX-2 was restocked, but near the bottom, sans a price card, and the title isn't real large, so the lady passed over it when she did a qucik scan, and simply rang me up.
 
I've said it before, and I'll say it again.

Abuse of a favorable policy leads to more stringent enforcement or removal of that policy.
