Prison Break Season 4 thread - Season Premiere Sept. 1 - Season 3 DVD out 8/12!

I actually liked season 2 more... although season 1 was definitely awesome. Prison Break is probably my favorite TV drama ever... and one of my favorite TV shows in general (although I'm a sucker for comedy shows).

I'm enjoying season 3, but not as much as the first two.
are you talking about kellerman?

it is believe he is dead on the show, happened last season after he testified...he was shot offscreen, so there is still the possibility he could return

According to issue #4 of the Official Prison Break Magazine, writer and co-producer Karyn Usher discussed Paul Kellerman. When asked about his fate, she replied "...this is Prison Break, and I wouldn't be surprised if Kellerman appeared again."
Kellerman was also not shown in the Season 2 Easter Egg that listed the dead characters of the show.
Hmm..from what I remembered from the end of S2...
Kellerman was being transfered in the prison van, when he quoted something, a car crashed into him, and some people helped him escape.

He said something like "Took them long enough" , then camera pans away to see a bunch of guys blast shotguns or something into the van. So they either shot the guard or kellerman.

Not quite.
The van stopped, some armed men opened the back, and took several shots into it. The camera viewpoint was far away, so it wasn't clear who they shot, nor what happened after that.

I was guessing it was the guards....but who knows, they haven't mentioned him yet.
Pre-empted once again?
I actually have no idea what is going on. Baseball screws everything up. I'm not sure how many episodes I missed. Last episode I saw
the Cuban dude was dragging the dead bodies and sprayed some crap on the fence to make it melt

they were planning on having the 5th game of the world series. They probably have that scheduled out months ago. If they changed it, it would fuck up the schedule later on.

I think you missed at least 1 if not 2 episodes...you can watch them on fox website.

I believe you missed one episode which was last mondays. There was no Prison Break on tonight since it would have been a game 5 of the World Series if the Sox didn't sweep the Rockies.

Next Monday is a 2 hour all new event. I am tempted to say that this will be the mid season finale? Just like every year then they come back in March. I could ( Hope to be ) be wrong. Maybe Frisky Knows.

Ok sounds good. On the Fox site do they show the whole episode or just clips?

It seems to soon for Prison Break to end until March...

The Terminator show takes it place for 13 weeks starting the same time as 24, I think it's January 19thish. So add 13 weeks to that and Prison Break will return.

it shows full episodes on the website...fox has one of the better online free viewing setups...some of the other networks suck

I'm not sure exactly what's going on with it, but I see episodes listed until at least Nov. 12, so we'll have to see what's going on beyond that later.

Though it seems that there's a spinoff on the way:

FOX is developing a spinoff series for their hit Prison Break, says the Hollywood Reporter. The series, tentatively titled Prison Break: Cherry Hill, would center around a women's prison, and star Molly, a new character to the Prison Break universe who will be introduced later this season on the original series. Casting is currently underway for the character. If the spinoff doesn't happen, Molly will remain a part of Prison Break.
According to the Reporter, Molly is an upper-middle-class wife who suffers a family tragedy caused by the Company. Wanting revenge, she seeks the Company out and ends up at the Panamanian prison Sona where this season of Prison Break is set.

Molly has been mentioned as a potential love interest for Michael (Wentworth Miller) and Prison Break executive producer Matt Olmstead tells the Reporter "There is an ironic similarity between Molly and Michael -- they're both emotionally banged-up, both have lost loved ones, and both want the people responsible to pay -- so they empathize with each other."

Prison Break: Cherry Hill would follow Molly as she's sent to a women's prison to serve a life sentence, only to be contacted by someone inside the government who tells her some of her loved ones are still alive. Said Olmstead "In a moment's time, she is transformed from an unapologetic murderer to a motivated woman who would do anything to get out of prison and be with them."
:whistle2:s

I have heard of molly, not of the spinoff...that sucks as the show this season has been a weak retread of season 1. They should concentrate more on getting this season back on track rather then a spinoff....there numbers a down a fair amount from last season.

I think they should end Prison break this season and then work just on the spinoff for next season.

Of course Fox wants to be greedy and wants two shows. I'm shocked they haven't asked for a House spinoff yet.

Season 3 ok but for me baseball screwed it up. Now it seems with a 2 hour show it's possibly going for a mid season break? I don't know where they are going with it. It's still good, but S1 & 2 were just a lot better IMO.

Edit:

OH DAMN! Michael threw down the chicken feet. I gotta say, first hour was great!

Yesterday's episode was great, though it sucks that the show's done until the middle of January.

If there's been one thing I don't like about the show this season, it's the inconsistency in airing the episodes, as it was interrupted by baseball last month and is now on a two month break.

It's better then last year where it was off til Feb/March.

True, but this season's still about half the length of the last two seasons, so it's not that much better.

One question--if they could just climb onto the roof through the ceiling why didn't they just do that and jump down the wall to the outside, instead of trying to lower themselves out the window and dash across the open last week?

OK, two questions now that I think about it- who the hell picks up two guys on a rope hanging from a helicopter in a "bang and burn" daring prison escape, but DOESN'T fly immediately away? They dangled there hovering for a few minutes while the numskulls in the copter tried to shoot one? WTF? Just fly away and you can kill the other guy after you land, idiots!

Is there a writer's strike or something and they let the janitor pen this week's script? Weaksauce! This was almost as bad as 24! :D
In case anyone is interested.. there's a Prison Break spin-off made specifically for mobile phones.

There are 26 "mobisodes." It's called Prison Break: Proof of Innocence. Here's the link: www.toyota.com/prisonbreak
Oh gawd. I watched a few episodes and couldn't watch anymore... so bad.

A.) because they would have been shot. The reason Michael's original plan had them going down the window was because they wouldn't have been seen. That's why they went through the trouble of drugging that one guard and waiting for the other guard to have been distracted by the glare.

B.) my guess is the extra weight kept the helicopter from flying away.

Yea I only watched one.. I almost feel bad about posting the link. :p

So I know Prison Break was supposed to end after this season, is it still ending with this short season or are they gonna go for another half season?

I've got no idea how this season finale is supposed to turn out or even the writer's stirike.

But most likely, there will be another season to wrap up possible loose ends from this one.
man, I miss the Dr. She is so hot!!!!
Same here..but it's not like Sofia and Gretchen (Susan) don't make up for her

About Sara:
It's possible she's not dead as the head that was shown was her look-a-like's from earlier in the season

I've still been following prison break. Dammit, stop teasing me! Next week they better break out and be on the run.
Finally caught up and I cannot wait for tonight's episode.
Man they BETTER be out today. I'm tired of the "hey we're breaking out" with 5 minutes left in the show, lol.

Oh man that episode was pretty intense. I'm still trying to figure out how a guy with a broken ankle is able to jump off a roof without any problems. That's a head scratcher.
