Prison Break Season 4 thread - Season Premiere Sept. 1 - Season 3 DVD out 8/12!
Awful. So awful.

I loved the show in season 1. Thought it was still interesting enough for season 2. Season 3, okay, I'll buy that. Season 4? Screw this noise.

It's like they're making it up as they go along and it's getting harder and harder to suspend disbelief with some of the garbage they're coming up with this year. That "black hole" electronic data reader device?
Agreed. I am still coasting off season 1 and 2. 1 was great 2 was interesting enough to continue it. 3 Was a little on the horseshit side and now 4 looks to be pure ass in a hand bag.
I am really hating the "Hey everyone is magically out of jail....because it uhhhh......burned down?" Thats ass.

I mean you guys know that I work in TV and because I work there I can actually suspend disbelief higher than anyone beacuse I know first hand how much time and or money it takes to do certain things and how things just get cut.

But god damn can you be any lazier? Wistler was the entire plot of season 3 can you not shoot him within the first 4 seconds? Come on. Not to mention he was just talking about how imporant that card was and no one thought to grab it when they ran?

Also, at this rate this season should only be about 4 episodes long since they get broken into a super max fortress of a house and stole 1 card within 30 min simply by just walking into the back door. And I agree that it seems by now a good chunk of these people should have died or just been written out.

I like sucret but he has been nothing but a lackey for 3 seasons.
I also like tea bag but they mess with his story line so much that I can only assume he is a immortal super genius and why is Alex? (the S1 prison guard) even still in the god damn series?

Bah Humbug I say. Bah Humbug.

That's bellick.

Just caught up on the 2 episodes from last night (thank you, hulu :D) and I enjoyed them quite a bit.

General thoughts:
I have no idea how long this season is going to be. Hell, it could be the final one (the way the story makes it out to be). This time around, they (the writers) like to add a lot of "surprise!" kind of stuff in there...not bad, but sometimes it's like "super-meh".

Spoiler Time: (Reaction, complaints, ...etc)
1) I'm happy they reunited Sara and Michael early in the season. Only makes sense as her coming back was known for a while.
2) Whistler getting shot was the #2 high point for me. The 'bad mexican' line was #1.
3) What was the point of removing Mike's tattoos? He still looks the same!
4) "Hacker" character is good in my book. He seems alot more significant than others now. (starbucks line was pretty cool ;))
5) What was up with 007 whistler? LOL.
6) 6 fucking key codes! What the fuck!!!!! How won't this seem repetitive?
7) So...nice call on Gretchen JSP, I try not to ruin it with credits for myself though.
8) My favorite character this time around is easily T-Bag's. Of course, the most shallow character is the black killer for the company.
9) I'm just going to list certain places where the key cards could be so the show could still be entertaining, well not so repetitive.
10) Underwater.
11) T-Bag's file. (I think this is going to have locations for all of them..)
12) Lincoln's pocket.
13) Farallon Islands (shark infested!)
14) Google search. (or @ somethingsomethingfinch.net)
15) At Sona. Oh wait, it burned down!

yes i agree the show is really reaching. why is that company chick still alive? are they just keeping her around for michael and sarah to kill her or shes going to escape and work with michael and co to bring the company down.

Does anyone else think this about the black hitman character....
He seems to me like they molded this hitman dude into a "Anton Chigurh" character who goes around murdering everyone but has this calm, cool nature to him like nothing fazes him at all.

Man, I dunno about this episode. I have no idea what's even going on anymore.

I remember Season 1... it was a 22 episode rip-off of Shawshank Redemption, but I still enjoyed it. Season 2 had nothing to do with Prison, Breaking, or really, entertainment at all. Season 3 was dreck. And this Season... well, it sucks too. I think the main reason I keep watching this show is just to see how preposterous this shit can become... killing off major characters randomly? Maybe the first time it was a surprise, but by now, I'm on to their rouse and see that they just couldn't write their way the fuck out of the characters' storylines. I don't even think this season intends to have a plot. They've basically changed it like 4 times already... like they started filming, then realized that what they were doing was awful. Ugh.

After Season 4 started, I forgot about this thread.

This show is dogshit.

It has become a complete waste of my time. Without fail, I watched every episode from Season 1 through 3. Now, the show's script is "unpredictable" (in a bad way), stupid and boring. I can't remember the last time a show fell so far and fast. I'm not sure I can handle another episode of this crap. I'm thinking I should cut my losses now and not watch any more of them.

Looks like the writers know they're passing off horseshit, since in this episode Sarah has a line like "Hey, even I came back from the dead" or some such nonsense.

Garbage.

I'm surprised that they decided to not go for the easy premise of Michael going vigilante to take down the company, but with
everybody getting arrested within 30 minutes of the start of the premiere and being forced to work together to take down the company
, pretty much changing everything from the get go. Michael Rappaport doesn't really fit at all with the show.

I'll keep watching to see if anything changes, but it kind of feels like a generic shell of what it once was.

My favorite part this episode is
how the big black guy manages to keep a United States senator tied up in his apartment for a day while no one looks for this famous and important ass when no knows where he is or what he's doing.

Wow....usually I'm not disappointed by the PB episodes, S3 included.

I liked the idea of
how the room would suck all the oxygen to kill a fire...but why not give lincoln at least some obstacle before coming to the rescue?! This was the only suspense I can recall from a 'drama'

Way too many twists...of course, not in a good way. It seems like all the complaining about
6 key cards
has gotten to people, so they abruptly changed the show. I guess it could've been worse...

how can it be worst?

so you are telling me the Company, being as great as it is, has no knowledge of a task force of agents hunting them down.

i dont know if i understood this correctly but the malhon's son was killed but not his wife?

Yea his Ex is still alive. By next season im sure his son will be back alive.

Yeah I noticed that as well.

So were the writers forced into bringing her back?

Man I missed the 2nd episode who died? I couldnt care less about spoilers.
Yeah I noticed that as well.

I don't believe so.

Probably, they thought it was a "clever" idea.

Yeah it does seem like they are writing it as they go along. I'm lost as to how all 4 seasons are even connected now. They spent all of S3 breaking out Whistler and then
they kill him off in the first five minutes of the new season.
It doesn't make any sense when you examine it but I guess we're not supposed to.

Yeah, I think we're all supposed to swallow this pile of shit and be happy we even have a show. The only way the writers could make this show more lame is to have all the Season 4 events be a Sucre dream sequence.

Imagine this: Sucre is sleeping in his cell dreaming about a random shitty bizarro world (current Season 4) based on The Show Formerly Known As Prison Break. On the Season 4 Finale, he wakes up and everything continues on from the end of Season 3. Better yet, the show doesn't continue from Season 3. It just fucking ends with no further explanation whatsoever, and no new episodes are ever made. I would throw my remote through the fucking TV. Honestly, I think this is the only way the writers can explain this garbage.

I also thought that Spanish chick would have more of a role this season, since she was close to Whistler, etc. IDK, the show is still alright, it just doesn't make any sense when you put it all together.

...........You just gave the writers a way to end the show ;)

You know.. even though it would be a total cop-out and probably piss off a lot of fans... I think a dream sequence-type situation would be a great idea to get the show away from this horrible plot. Like, have someone wake up somewhere between Seasons 2 and 3? That would kick ass.

they were close but she didnt know jack about Whistler or what he was really up to. they were just fuck buddy.
Anyone catch the latest episode?

It was pretty good.
'specially with that big tittied secretary :)

You damn pervert.

Definitely the best part of the episode. Although, I'm kind of interested to see what happens with Sarah now.

You can't deny the truth. Well, you could but that's no fun. ;)

I actually saw a suicide happening but that would sorta skew s4 even more:hot: Then again...
she could come back next season, unscathed :roll:

Somebody important has to die off soon...
nobody cares about these miscellaneous characters dying! :bomb:
"I just made it look like I killed myself so I wouldn't be a distraction!" Season 5 here we come.

I hope the writers don't use this (or something similar)...oh wait

Make that receptionist a main character, that's where the ratings are! :D
Thank jebus for that big tittied bitch.
+1

Pretty good episode.

No complaints from me this week. I actually thought they would kill the one guy to get his fingerprint on the safe...of course, it turned out to be a more "breaking in" type of approach.

Woo at the bts (big tittied secretary) being back (in the same shirt too)!

I bet T-Bag is gunna end up working with Michael and crew to save his life. Well, not like he's got a choice

Wow, best episode of the season so far and no comments about it yet.

William Fichtner is such a great actor and he's made me go from hating Mahone to hoping that last night wasn't the end of his run. I've read reports that he's a huge dick in real life, but his work is tremendous. I was a huge fan of his when he was on Invasion, as well.

Well I've liked Agent Mahone since Season 2, I won't be sad if they kill of Agent Self though.

I'm about to watch the latest episode, so I'll comment on it later.
Huge dick in real life? Elaborate.
Basically just stuff like being an asshole in interviews, giving smartass answers to questions. Maybe "huge dick" was a bit much. I don't care; he's still brilliant.

Loved this past episode (5 the hard way) and it may be my all time favorite pb one, it's just so good - for all the right reasons, too!

Thoughts on Last nights Ep.
First Holy shit Gretchen was so so so so hot when she took off her shirt and was bent off on the bed Awesome!
Roland pretty much gets what he deserves and Wyatt does too but not yet!
They failed to get the last card now what?

I'm surprised they played out Roland's story the way they did. They had potential to make him a great "diamond in the rough" character.

Here's my opinion on what they should've done -
I thought that since Roland was the first person Mahone told about his son's death, that Roland was basically going to "deliver" Wyatt to Mahone, and Mahone would kill him there, the brothers would carry out the plan, get the card, mission accomplished. Roland would've "redeemed" himself, so to speak.

Instead they just
turned Roland into a traitorous greedbag with no real redeeming quality.

Roland proved he was an assbag
when he messed up in Vegas. Also he was shady the whole time. Roland was only about Roland the whole time

fuck that guy. But I agree, they should have actually taken that sub-plot somewhere. Instead, it felt like yesterday's episode really went nowhere. The only redeeming qualities were
Wyatt finding them/them finding him
and Gretchen. I would have given her my whip for sure. :bouncy:

Haven't watched since the first season, so if someone minds giving me a brief recap since I saw a minute of last night's episode:
Sarah is alive? How the hell do they explain that?

Basically that it
wasn't her head in the box, but somebody who looked similar. The box was found in a dark place, bloody, Lincoln not giving it a close look
, blah blah blah bullshit.
