pro stick duo?
i think you should be good with a 4gb cheapest one since sindisk is reliable

cheapest one i found on amazon: here
same one I found as well, but no free ship. But i bought headphones from JoWow before so they're reliable.

I'll keep looking around and try and find a sub $30 4 gb.

Don't cheap out on your memory stick. The cheapeast deals are usually for fake ones even though they look legit. If you recieve a memory stick without retail packaging then it's most likely fake

Frys sells 8 gb Lexar pro duo's for around $60 every once in a while. I wouldn't really recommend it though. The write rate is really slow, but everything plays fine on a psp, just not a good choice if you're gonna be transferring stuff a lot.

Dude it's fake, that's exactly what I warned you guys about. It says Sony but if you press triangle and look at the details and it will miss the Magic Gate feature which makes them horrible slow in reading and writing data. Never EVER buy one from dealextreme.com, it;s not that hard to print Sony on a card. Also the build quality is crap

Just to be safe, I would pretty much always go for a Sandisk memory stick pro duo. They are just as fast/reliable as the Sony ones and there aren't any fake versions out there, at least as far as I know...

I bought a 4gb Sandisk Ultra II off of Amazon about 6 months ago for $40 and it's been superb.

Great advice. Buy a Sandisk from Amazon or Buy.com

Well thats your opinion, but i think they're fan-freaking-tastic....i plan on buying some more from them....the only thing that sucks is the 2 week wait for it to arrive....btw, i dont experience and horribly long read/write times!!!

It's not an opinion, it's a fact. It's just a cheap substitute for the great performance a genuine Memory stick will offer. Like I said before, never get a bootleg, also can you please stop typing in bold red letters? Looks like you are quoting something
Rumor has it Buy.com will have the below mentioned Sandisk 4gb memory stick pro duo for $20 starting at midnight pacific time.

thats a nice rumor...

and yes dealextreme are notorious for fake memory cards/flash. But their retail products are fine, there are a lot of thread online with pictures of fake vs real packaging. One reason sony and other companies change packaging just slightly so often.
