Problem With Call Of Duty 4 for PC

So my COD was being dumb for a while, then I started the game in Safe Mode and it seemed to be working fine. Now whenever I start the game, it doesn't give me the option of starting in Safe Mode or not, it just automatically just goes into Safe Mode once I open it.
Help?

Try going to Start (in the bottom left hand corner) and going to where call of duty 4 is, most games have an option to start it in safe mode from there

COD4 was giving me shit for awhile. If you are running Xfire try turning that off. I found out that Xfire didn't like COD4 in my case.

Ya I had the same issue with Xfire. Just had to turn it off when I want to play cod4

I have no idea if I have XFire.
How would I found out if I did?

2.) Go to "Change or Remove Programs" and see if it appears in the list
