Problems connecting to people on PDZ

Anyone know why I keep getting a "you have lost connection to the match" error when I try to join a friend on PDZ?

I have no trouble joining a public game, but it seems I can't get into games where I get an invite.

Any ideas?

If you can't connect to one person in a room it doesn't let you in, similar to the EA games. I have this problem often, too (unless they just made a room or something). I'm not sure how to fix it though, it just seems like bad luck to me.

I think there is a setting that you cannot join someone in the middle of a match or something like that.....I get the same error. If you look at the room you are joining, look at the settings for it...the last option says something about it.

You might have to get a new router to do that

depending on your router, it took me a while to get it down. i found someone posting info on xbox's forums:

also try searching for your router and nat setting. i did "netgear nat setting" to get my answers

Which router do you have? I had a problem getting bumped off PGR3 and PD0 . Updated the firmware of my D-link 624 and that fixed the problem
