CAGiversary!
Hey there, just calling for some help since my new Dual Shock 3 isn't quite working...
The problem is the vibration itself; originally I had a Sixaxis and hoped that with the Dual Shock 3 I would get vibration in my games, but it seems that the vibration is different in each game. Now I'm aware that the Dual Shock 3 motors are much more adjustable, so that you can get varied vibration, but some games just don't have any vibration to them at all!?
E.g. With BlazBlue, I get nothing, eventhough it's set in both the XMB and in the game to have Vibration on.
Burn Out Paradise I can just feel it, but it's really weak, and I need to crash into something really hard to get a slight jolt.
Pixel Junk shooter I can only just feel it when I hit into a wall.
In KOF12 I can only feel it if the character I play as lands on the floor after a heavy throw.
Now, a PS2 game as an example, Rez, a great example of a game that uses vibration, hell in Japan they release that Vibrator thing for it! lol, that is perfectly fine! And to my suprize Little Big Planet is fine too, the control shakes and vibrates as much as I expected it to.
Here's the thing though... Am I missing out on something here? Why is it that I'm not getting anything on some games, and plently of Vibration on others, I mean the back of the boxes for BlazBlue and KOF12 do say that they have vibration features, yet I hardly get anything, and make my Dual Shock 3 into a heavy Sixaxis...
Can anyone help?
