I've spent the last week trying to track down a copy of Professor Layton and the Curious Village. It's Out Of Stock almost everywhere. I did finally find a used mint copy today thanks to a helpful EB games staff.

I don't know if Nintendo will print more but to save you some extra expense if not will I though I'd post some links as to where there may be stock in your local stores.

Online only US. I haven't seen any Canadian Online stores with any stock.

Goomba has 2 near mint condition copies on his site reasonably priced.

Reading so much about this game lately hasn't made the wait for the second so painful :( I was hooked to this game till I finish all 135 puzzles!! (Not counting the downloadable ones). Now waiting on the second to unlock that darn door!!

I am surprise there isn't that many copies to find...then again Nintendo seems to do this with this kind of games (Hotel Dusk was also darn tricky to find till the reprint they did around sept/novemember)
 
I knew I was in for some work to find this game when asking about it at 3 EB's the staff wouldn't even have to look it up in the computer they knew they didn't have a copy. Which means they've been asked a lot or they're looking for a copy for themselves. Then they told me it's titled under New-No Longer Available. So I spent week searching every little store that sells video games and know one goes too but found not 1 copy of Professor Layton.
I hope they do print more and release the sequel.
 
Phoenix Wright was very short supply at first, and so was Hotel Dusk, but they eventually got reprints. I could see them reprinting Layton and giving it a budget price tag of like 19.99 eventually. Which is when I'd finally buy it :p
 
I got this game back in december for $7.50 with Halo 2 for the buy 1 get 1 free promotion at Blockbuster. The case and manual were also in excellent condition!
