professor layton series: accessing all puzzles without playing story mode?

is that possible? i haven't played any since the curious village couple years ago. i'm hoping it might be different now. i have no interest in walking around searching for puzzles like that one. i just want to be able to play every puzzles available for each of the game.

I don't think there is, and honestly I think the "searching" for puzzles has gotten worse as the series has gone on. I get tired of backtracking just to take up time... "Oh, we haven't gone to the museum yet." Go there, find one puzzle, but we just happened to miss the guy so we need to go back to where we just were. And I'm not overlooking puzzles either because they're in # order. (And I do click *everywhere* looking for hidden puzzles, which seem to be even less frequent.
