What is your proudest Cheap Ass Moment, for example did you snipe an ebay auction at the last second or see a great game on clearance somewhere? Maybe you worked real hard to get a good deal?
Please don't inclued crummy games you just got because they were cheap

I'm pretty proud of 1 moment a little more than a mont ago I believe, I just happened to wake up at about 8:30 AM when like every other day it had been 10 and I logged on to CAG and was able to get both 1080 avalanche and wario world for 9.99 before they were all gone.

Getting the official Konami Guitar Freaks Guitar Controller with Guitar Freaks 1st Mix for $49.99 buy it now on EBay (worth around $130 - $150).

Fional Fantasy II for snes for 10$ at the exchange

if i was there the night before coulda got
Final Fantasy III
Super Mario Rpg
Chrone trigger
All 10$ each someone got rid of there rpg collection

Definately the CC sale! I checked the site, heard a couple people mention it and as soon as someone posted a picture of their reciept I was off! It was very nice having first pick of everything at 2 CC's, unfortunately the list was tiny then, so I had no idea what was on it and what wasn't. Still I think I did ok.

I bought Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner a week after it came out at Hastings for $5.99 because some employee confused the price of the game for the price of the game rental. Hastings employs a lot of girls who know absolutely nothing whatsoever about games, movies, or music. Gamestop and EB tend to do the same, but that is another topic.

Grabbing the only copy of Skies of Arcadia at Circuit City for $5 after some kids doing a quick scan over the section missed it. It was right in front of them too.

The runner-up moment would be getting rid of Roadkill and Legends of Wrestling (I paid a combined $5 for both, and Roadkill got $8 credit alone) for a "used" copy of Chronicles of Riddick a week ago. I paid about 60 cents for Riddick and the game and manual were brand new.

Final Fantasy "II" and Final Fantasy "III" (Both SNES) for $2.99 each at a Goodwill. Sure, the games aren't that rare, but they still kept me occupied for months.

now that's a deal

if I got that one it like that it would be the best ever in my book

But mine is probably whwn I bought my xbox at cristmas only using games I had bought for about 3 dollars as trade in (for 10 dollars apeice).

Sega brand maracas for dreamcast at toys r us. The sticker said $80, I brought them up the counter to see if they were any cheaper. They guy scanned them and they weren't in the computer. He asked how much I would pay for them and I said $10. Sold! Cha-ching! :)

[quote name='Ultimatallica']I just traded my friend a box of Tasty Kake Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes for a copy of Crazy Taxi GC >

EB was doing a trade-in deal, minimum $10 trade each game of Xbox, PS2, PS1, N64, no limit (at least not at my store). Traded in a lot of crappy PS1 games like Pro Pinball, and got a new PS2 with online adapter (at the time going for $180?) for $40.

Being awake early enough to catch CS for $10 at EB.
Preordering Lord of the Rings: The Battle For Middle Earth for $20 when Amazon had the wrong price for the game.
