So I put You Don't Know Jack in when I have some friends over. Game will play for a while and then freeze. It's random. Disc is pretty clean - not 100% out of shrink wrap but still clean.
So, I remember there was a setting on the PS2 for adjusting the disc loading speed (faster but not as compatible) for PS1 games. I remember tripping upon this setting in the PS3 a few month back and saying, "Let's see if it makes any difference."
Now, for the life of me I can't find that setting. Any tips or has anyone else experienced this?
Oh, it's a 60GB PS3 which would make more of a difference with a PS2 game than a PS1 game from my understanding. Basically, it ought to be pretty much compatible with just about anything.
