Some of you may remember that Wal-Mart had a PS2 racing 3-pack last year (featuring Ford Racing 2, Corvette, and Super Trucks Racing) for $10.

Well, it's back. This time, the 3-pack has Ford Racing 3, Motocross Mania 3, and Power Drome. Yeah, not as good at last year's (especially considering how cheap Power Drome was at CC), but still, 3 PS2 games for $10 isn't bad.

I know a lot of us are going to be buying these for trade-in purposes, but I really recommend giving Ford Racing 3 a try if you like racers. I played it all the way through and I have to say that not only was it an improvement over Ford Racing 2 in every way, but it's the best budget racer I've ever played.

UPDATE (10/30): D. Monic confirmed that Ford Racing 3 and Motocross Mania 3 are currently PO at EB. Power Drome has previously been reported as POX but kjauburn reported that wherehouse.com is giving $11.25 for it.

UPDATE #2 (11/2): Warner1281 reported the following:

These games got 11.25, 2.50, and 2.50 credit at FYE/wherehouse yesterday. If you do cash, that comes out to $13. Not much of a return, but if anyone is absolutely desperate to make $3 minus taxes, you can.

UPDATE #3 (11/5): takingchase confirmed the Gamerush values:

Powerdrome - $6
Ford Racing 3 - $1.25
Motocross Mania 3 - $1.25

takingchase also reported that only Powerdrome is eligible for the trade in deal there.

Tried the 3-pack at Hastings last night, none worked.....although, the guy was a fucker and was hassling me about the trade. Was getting an XBX game, said all the trades needed to be XBX games....I had mostly PS2.....wanted the PS2 version, which their computer showed 8 copies of in-store, but they were nowhere to be found by a few different employees. No other time have I had problems with mixing platforms. He was scanning all the games for their trade values rather quickly, then told me which ones worked. I'm not putting a confirmation of denial on these three games, but I will say I'm doubtful.

only powerdrome is eligible for the trade in deal. The GT4 deal at EB is over right? If it is I guess I'll just be trading these all into FYE so I don't lose any money.

Ah, yes, that sounds like Hastings, alright. Some employees allow multi-console trade, some insist on xbox for xbox, etc. And there are often things that the computer shows in-stock that can't be found (usually because they are misplaced, but probably sometimes because they don't have it at all). The trades used to be a lot easier, but they have gotten stricted about everything. The last trade I tried I went in with about 25 DVDs, and I couldn't get a single 4-for-1 out of it -- even the employee was surprised. And they weren't dollar discs either, they were legitimate major studio releases.

The only reason I was pissed is because I've done probably 20-30 4-for-1's in the past with no hassles about the mixing. Hell, I even asked the associate about it once and she said it didn't matter. I have a feeling once the Three Six Oh era rolls around I won't be visiting Hastings much anymore.

On a side note, since most of my games were PS2, I was going to get RE4 instead of my XBX choice, but the only copy they had was sliced down the front....as if someone used a box opener carelessly and put a cut through both layers of plastic and the paper. Shitty trip.

Thanks to everyone who has been posting trade-in information. I've been adding this information to the OP, and I'll update it whenever new information comes along.

Looks like the seller is getting owned. They have another BIN for these at $14.99. Guess nobody was buying them.

The seller is also trying to auction them off with a starting price of $9.99.
