There's a Crash Bandicoot one I saw today, I don't remember if Crash Tag Team Racing was part of it. Other than that, I think all the ones I've ever seen have been listed.
 
There's also soon to be a Metal Gear Solid one, I keep hearing, though it includes the original MGS, so maybe it doesn't qualify since that was on PS1.
 
you are correct, there will be a MGS 3 pack.


I wonder if they will release a Silent Hill 3 pack with SH2-4, which Konami already did released in Europe, and in Japan they released all 4 SH games.
 
If they release a quad-pack of the Silent Hill games and they're all non-GH(like the DMC trilogy pack was), then I think there's going to be lots of pissed off 'zomg rare' game collectors out there since the original Silent Hill will no longer command such a high price anymore.

What gets me though, is that with the DMC 3 pack, they put in NON GH copies of ALL THREE games. I know with the Halo Triple Pack I got from Kmart for $12, the first game was a Platinum Hits title, while the other two were non-PM.

I guess it just depends on the publisher and what stock they may have on hand.

Well, the same notion can be applied to the MGS series no? Subsistence & Substance were uncommon & commanded high prices (esp, a sealed Substance).

Needless to say, I'd want a black label, quad-pack as well! This and perhaps a Prince of Persia collection also.

Interesting occurrence with the triple-pack, perhaps black label copies depends on the publisher.
 
Gamestop sells MGS2 Substance for $25 used. I hope it drops or I might be tempted to buy the MGS collection even though I own two versions of mGS and both versions of MGS3.

I just wanted to post packaging notes for the SvR set that I got yesterday. All 3 games have the black labels. The biggest difference in the packaging (aside from the outer sleeve) is that instead of each individual case having a bar code, they have a block of text that says something along the lines of "not for individual sale/return". The instruction books are completely unchanged, for example the Smackdown vs. Raw (the first one) booklet has an ad for Destroy all Humans on the back that says, "Coming in 2005". As far as I can tell the games themselves are also unchanged. Chris Benoit still appears in them.

That's cool. I don't know why some people seemed worried that the WWE would remove Benoit from the games , given that then they would have to spend extra time and money altering the games just for a budget re-release. It'd be one thing if these were supposed to be "directors cut" versions or something like that but otherwise no.

This is strange.

I was at a store in Mexicali, Mexico, and I saw a three-pack of Mortal Kombat games for the PS2, which was more or less the same as the ones in the first post... but I just tried to search for it on Amazon.com and eBay, and it's nowhere to be found. This was a legitimate release, it had the box in English and everything.

I only found a copy of it at a Mexican online auction site...

I'm sure I've seen that box art before, but I couldn't say from where. It wouldn't be the first time that we got the shaft on a collection release. Konami released a Silent Hill PS2 collection in Europe that contained 2, 3, and 4 (EDIT: as previously noted).

I assume by "more or less than same as the ones in the first post" you mean 3 packs in general , since there is no MK 3 pack listed in the first post.

I wish they had a set like that for the xbox , same thing for the hitman set.

Anyway, Mexico usually gets the same games as the US (they import the same stock), so it's really strange for me to find -this- pack here and not in the US...

I'm still hoping for a 3 pack of the Silent Hill series to be released before Homecoming hits. Maybe like Silent Hill Origins, 1, and 2. Another set with Silent Hill 3, 4, and some sort of soundtrack collection. :)
 
If anyone's looking for them, I just saw the Namco fighting game pack and the Pac-Man pack at EBstop today. I was tempted by the fighting game one as I don't have Tekken Tag or Tekken 4 but I decided to wait.
 
Meh, the first two were just warmups for 3. If I didn't have 3 on Xbox, Revenge on 360, and Dominator on PS2, I'd probably bite.
 
the reason is probably because EA didnt pickup the series until Burnout 3. Never played Burnout 1, but Burnout 2 was a fun game

Yeah, Acclaim had publishing right to the first two. There's nothing EA could do for those.
