Yeah i have one it really does make them look bigger. Only downside is on a bigger TV because it enhances it so much you see more rough edges.

I can vouch for Component over compsite. The picture quality difference is very small, but not so small that you don't notice. On newer games that are made for high def you often cannot read the text with composite cables. Component cables make the text actually readable (though still blurry :< )
I'd order from monoprice. I've ordered a PS2 Component cable from a random seller before. The picture was even of a component cable and the description stated that it WAS a component cable.
What did I get in the mail? Composite.
