The swap meet in my city (paramount) have like 4 copy of them sealed. There was like 3 game stand, one stand carry one MGS2: substance sealed for $30, another one had 2 sealed for $25 each, and the last stand had one sealed for $20. I just picked one for $20 brand new sealed.

didnt the PS2 version have more to offer than the XB version... I have noticed the skateboarding not mentioned on the XB version for example... picked mine up from the 5 buck CC sale luckily

what's the difference between substance and sons of liberty? are they completely different games? because i already played sons of liberty. what makes substance so great?

Substance has hundreds of VR missions and the Snake Tales, 5 missions unrelated to the Sons of Liberty story, where you can play in the Big Shell as Snake. I put over 35 hours into the Xbox version and am still not even close to being finished with everything.

What the heck?! I thought this game was really rare and going for a lot on ebay, so I was excited when I found it PO at ebgames today. I paid $27 and i see that on ebay, its going for anywhere from $5.00 to $20. I'm kind of annoyed cause this is one of those rare times when I really just bought it for an investment. Is this game "rare"?

What are you talking about? I sold 2 complete copies in two weeks for $45 shipped each.

This one is mine just ended  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8164191039&ssPageName=STRK:MESO:IT

I might end up keeping it as a Metal Gear collectible, cause I am a big fan of the series. But, I thought it was going for like $60. But, $45 isn't too bad.

Like I mentioned, I very rarely pick up a game just to sell it.
Is the Xbox version rare?
no  and that's the one I have . . .

I bought the original PS2 Sons for $40 around launch. Got the Xbox game used for under $10 with shipping on ebay.

I wonder how many of the PS2 version were produced? Is there a website where you can get that kind of information? I still see the XBox version all over, usually for pretty cheap. I heard the game runs much better on PS2, tho.
