ps2 on my plasma...

In general PS2 games look like ish on most flat panel displays, unless you are bumping them to at least 480p.

Try the HDTV player from Xploder, doesnt work for every game, but until you ante up for a PS3, you are just gonna hafta grin and bear it.
why does my ps2 look like such crap on my nice plasma. is there anyway to downgrade the settings anywhere to get it to look like it should?
why don't you try holding triangle and x at startup, some games will let you go into 480p mode. Along with some component cables, you should be alrite.

Here is a list of progressive ps2 games, thank you wiki !

It's never going to look as good as it does on a display with a native 480 resolution. Buy some component cables, calibrate your set, back off the sharpness. The reality is that plasmas are designed to run things in 720/1080. Anything less will be stretched tremendously, and all the blemishes will rear their ugly heads. I've actually been considering buying an EDTV for my PS2/GC/Xbox.
