Wow. Pretty good price on P4. The one deal I regret so often is not getting in on the P4 deal with the bonus disc from Amazon for under $25. :cry:
 
I continue to see P4 on the clearance racks at BestBuy for anywhere from $20 to 25.

I saw some P3 FES for $15 recently as well.

You should, that was probably the best Amazon Gold Box deals ever for games. As I recall, I also got Yakuza 2 for quite cheap in the lightning deals that day.

Which bonus disc? The only deal I can think of was the Persona 3 Fes w/ soundtrack and artbook from normal Persona 3. Didn't all copies of Persona 4 come with the soundtrack?

Yes, they all did as far as I know. I think he meant more it was an excellent price that day. It was $25.98 and that was February 23rd (thank you Amazon order history) which was just over 2 months after release.
 
As someone who's new to the MegaTen series, I'm confused -- is the Digital Devil Saga 2 on pre-order a new game, or a reissue of an older one? Amazon lists it with a release date of October 2005 and different cover art. If it's a reissue, is anything other than the cover art changing?

That looks like a reissue to me.
 
Reissue, reprint, who cares. At least folks get to play it.

Persona 4 is likely the orig version with the bonus disc intact, esp given that it just came out (relatively speaking)--also note that the product shot does in fact mention the bonus disc. DDS 2 would definitely be a reprint at this point--its been too long since its orig run, and it would be a good guess that the bonuses are not incl.

Yeah, I didn't say that there was anything wrong with it -- I was just curious. Especially since they've added content in reissues in this series sometimes in the past.

There's a second soundtrack CD that Amazon gave out with the game. The one that comes with all of the games(no matter where you get it) is Side A. In addition to that, Amazon also gave out Side B.
 
Not sure if I should jump on this deal. Hmm! I can always wait and hope it shows up at my local Gamestop. For example, I was able to snag SMT: DS 2 for $13 MINT today at GS.

And guys, stop rubbing the Amazon deal in my face. :cold:
