ps2 price drop

Does anybody know when the next price drop is going to be? Anybody at least care to guess. THe only time I can think of that it will be a guarentee is when the 360 comes out.

that would be my best guess. not only does the 360 come out but the may drop the price before the holiday season anyways, so there are 2 good reasons to do so. Not to mention it has been a pretty long time since the last drop.

I'd like to get one of the new slim PS2 systems and perhaps a spare Xbox (mine has been flakey over the years) when/if the asking price ever drops to $100 or less new. I'd imagine Sony won't need to drop their price until PS3 comes out, and Microsoft probably won't drop their price until Sony does.
