Ps2 Slim Stand

Should I bother getting a stand for my ps2 slim. I was looking at this one here

I have my slim on a stand and I love it. Stands right next to the Wii.

But def check eb/gs first. I got a round one used from EB a while back and it was like $4.

I would but I refuse to shop at EB or Gamestop ever again. I don't agree with a lot of their policies as such I refuse to support them. I'll probably just grab one for 8 bucks or whatever off ebay.

Amazon.com has one for only 5 bucks and it's eligible for free shipping. I don't know anything about the quality, but can't be any worse than getting one from EB/GS

wow, thats a third shape the stand comes in. Round, Square, and now Octagonal! Take your pick. =)

I dont think quality is totally an issue, it's a piece of plastic designed to hold something up. I could probably make a makeshift one out of wood lol only problem is amazon doesn't take paypal nor do I think freeshipping would work for Canadians.

Mines made out of metal. It fairly heavy too for its size. It gives alot more stability to your PS2.

I have the official Sony round vertical stand which looks good and keeps the console fairly secure. I got it from Amazon.co.uk for £10 (~$6).

I have the Sony one, its very sturdy. Definitely worth it if it can be had for

I'd get a metal one. I know the official Sony one is metal. Not sure about those other ones.
