I just got back home from finding a fantastic deal, Tesco Home in Cribbs Causeway in Bristol was selling PS2 slimlines for £30, what a steal. They're brand new, nothing wrong with them - I just opened the box, comes with cables and all. I've never seem them being sold this cheap in stores before. Being so cheap it's worth it just to have a spare console and an extra controller.
I don't know whether there are similar deals going on in other Tescos, but at that price it's probably worth a look.
