I don't know if this is a good deal or not, but my TRU has PS2 Speakers and PS2 Stand/Remote/Multitap By Intec @ TRU 70% off $29.99. That makes them like $9 each. They had quite a few, I just don't have a PS2.

These are getting very bad reviews. They say they sound terrible and the quality is not too good.

I just picked up the Altec Lansing XA-3021 from buy.com for only $19.99 shipped. 20 watts and great reviews on this one. These have a wired remote with two headphone jacks as well. Originally $100.
Note that most of these setups are basically PC speakers so don't expect to be blown away by the sound. For $20, these are much better than the PS2 looking ones mentioned here, although those are plenty cheap as well.

Uhm it's made by Intec...that should tell you everything you need to know about the quality.

There is a saying at my TRU between the employees about Intec garbage... "If it doesn't blow up, consider yourself lucky."

for 9 bucks i picked it up...the sound is pretty decent i mean it adds 2 more speakers to my set up, not the greatest thing but decent...i just love the way it sets my ps2 up...it looks amazing with the grills...and the system select is cool....i wouldnt buy it for 30 bucks but for 10 its a good deal...for an awesome looking system selector...

I thought playing your PS2 on the stand created marks on the underside of your games. At least that is what I've heard and experienced....

With some of the earlier models, yes. And actually, some of the later models too. Mine does not do that, so it cant be a blanket statement.
