PS3 - $475/Xbox 360 - $380 B&M Wal-Mart YMMV

Just got back from my locak Wal-Mart (Gainesville, FL) and they had 60 gig PS3s for $475 and Premium 360s for $380.

Not terrific, but not terrible either. As always with Wal-Mart and B&M stores, YMMV.

at first, i read the price as $475, 360, which is a bit steep for the ps3. 475 is more reasonable. unfortunately, i "took advantage" of the ps2 trade-in for 100 a short while back.

don't do it, there is a leaked walmart ad, with the 360 showing as 349.99 in august

It's still cheaper to buy from online retailers with no sales tax. Amazon $499 shipped vs. $53X.XX with sales tax from walmart B&M...

Actually, the Wal-Mart ad showed it for $349, not $349.99, making it a shady ad. Plus, Speedy's thread made no mention of a price drop on August 8th at Target, CC, BB, so we'd assume they'd follow suit if there were a price drop.

My local Wal-Mart (Super) has the Premium for $380, and the Core for $280. So, this might be more widespread than people think.

The price drop would be ANNOUNCED the 8th and take place on the week starting the 12th, I believe.
