PS3 80gb backward compatible

I have an 80gb PS3 that i'm looking to get rid of in order to get a Wii U. What am I looking at as far as trade-in value vs. trying to sell privately on ebay or craigslist. Could I ask for a straight trade PS3 for Wii U?

I can buy a 80GB PS3 from my local Gamestop used for $180. The Wii U, as you can imagine, is worth a little bit more.
