PS3 80gigs in stock at Toys R us..last chance for BC [not a deal]

Before everyone starts flaming...I been noticing that PS 80gigs are slowly disappearing everywhere (Walmart, BB, Circuit City, Target). I noticed that Toys R us still has them in stock.

So now that the Blue ray v HD debate as been settled...I think this is the best time to get a 80 gig...before they are gone....With Sony taking out BC completely....get these before they are gone..

I checked through 98 PS2 games that I've got, and all but 8 of them work with the PS3. The only thing that doesn't work well is online. It may not be 90% overall, but it's a lot higher than 30%.

Agreed. We don't know whether or not the next PS3 sku (120gb/160gb) will have backwards compatibility.

Seriously though, if you're in this forum and looking for backwards compatibility then there is a much better 60GB gamefunk thread. Also, Sony hasn't said a word on what the new SKUs are going to bring, that is what I'm waiting on.

I can't believe the prices people are asking for a 20GB, 60GB and 80GB on Amazon, for $200 over retail someone could buy a 40GB and a PS2 for less than that.

It's all speculation that the next SKUs will not support backwards compatibility at least via software emulation.
