PS3 Cheapest new?

Where can I obtain the cheapest ps3 slim? Smallest hd ok, I'll upgrade soon after. My launch 60gb ylod on me, so I'm selling it on CL $100, but I still need to replace it.

Target has a $50 giftcard with purchase of a PS3 this week; Best Buy is offering a free copy of LittleBigPlanet 2 or Gran Turismo 5 with purchase, which is basically the same deal so long as you're interested in either one of those games.
 
Sucks man. Damn all these 60 giggers dyeing out. Mines still going strong knock on wood.
 
Bringing the Target ad would ensure you getting it for 249.99. I plan to do this once i get off work today!
 
Amazon.com is also giving a $50 credit (toward 99.9995% of the stuff they sell) with the purchase of a vanilla 160 GB Slim

If you live in a state where Amazon doesn't charge tax, that's a savings of around $25-30
 
That amazon deal is sweet if you can wait on the $50 credit, I still have not gone to get it. But instant $249.99 is a bit better plus a game if bb does it right.
 
im selling a brand new 160gb ps3 for $265 shipped. i opened the box but everything inside is still new/sealed/unused. i got it for christmas but my 60gb still works so i haven't needed to use the 160gb. pm me if interested.

I had no luck at my local BB. The employees and manager were very rude. I showed them their own website on my phone and they claimed, "We can sit here all day and read... at the end of the day its my call."

They insisted that they "Do not match giftcards." However, the price match policy states otherwise. They did offer to give me a gift card instead of the free game though. But would not sell it to me for 249.99.

I ended up buying the PS3 from BB only because i had a $75 gift card from Christmas.

So i suppose YMMV, hopefully more stores know there own policy.
 
You can get both deals(free game and $50 off) but it takes 2 steps. First fulfill the BB current offer to get the game then come back later showing the ad for target and their giftcard PM policy. Go on their message board and get the name of their corporate rep that handles dispute(make sure it's the official rep) u should find issues concerning this policy listed there also print this out too. Name drop!!! The last thing a store manager wants is to b put on blast by name and store # thru the company web page and have corporate have a conference call about store policies that they should know. Certainly not over $50 I've also seen people play "let's make a deal" and purchase the warranty as their "give"
 
Ok, here's my side. I went to target yesterday first to pick up the printed ad for the week. Then went to BB and asked their cs if they priced matched. As long as I brought the official printed ad they would price match exact item only. I did not buy it then because I was short on time. Fast forward to tonight, I went to a different BB only because I had dinner nearby. Asked cs again if they did, the rep was nice said sure as long as they can call the local target and verify that the item is in stock no problem. I then showed her the ad, she took it to the back (her sup I presume). Came back 30 seconds later (yeah I counted, I was bored lol) said "I can't give you a gift card but will discount it for you," "should I go get one for you?." I said yes of course waited 3 secs then asked politely "Would you still be able to give me your current promo of either LBP2 or GT5?" And again she was cool did not ask in the back and said yes of course.

Cliff Notes: BB in Reno, Nevada honored the Target ad and $269.13 later I have a 160gb + GT5.

Congratz on your smooth transaction! I should have went to the BB on the nicer side of town, i'm sure they would have gave me the same deal as you!
 
Mark T, maybe you can still go back to that nicer BB and talk to their manager. Take your receipts both ads and go from there. It's still $50 you can get back, and it's their policy not ours.

There's a new post from GS offering the same $50 promo I think the key to getting the gift card PM is being prepared like you've done it b4 never try it in line always go to CS, have all the printed out policies and ad in hand along with your form of payment that way they know ur ready to take advantage of deal whether they get ur $ or the competition gets it their choice.
 
3 weeks 3 diff. $50 ps3 GC deals I guess Sony wants to get as many ps3's out so ppl can pick up the ton of games they have coming this yr.
