So, I've got an extra code for Fatal Frame (PS2 classic) for PS3.

I heard people were getting those emails. sadly I am not one of them. I would love a free movie.

I wonder what are the conditions of getting that email are.

No idea but it was completely wasted on me. I can't stand watching movies or tv. Once in a great long while there's a movie I want to see, and generally it's gore porn. I also don't pay for movies unless it's something really special. They were totally marketting this to the wrong person in my case.

I was talking with Sony chat support and they gave me what I believe to be a BS answer saying the offer was only for people who had a PS4 tied to there account, or that the offer is only available for owners of a PS4

That can't be true because I have a PS4 since launch day and never received anything of the sort so I think they may have incorrect information lol good old Sony for you.

so basically you are saying they BS'd me to get rid of me. If you have the time do me a favor and contact support and see if they will send you the email. because according to an agent on PSN chat support the offer was only for people who have PS4. Im not begging. I just want you call them out on it.

Yeah I will get right on it. Like I say I have had my PS4 since launch day and not had anything like that.

So I clearly think even they don't no what there talking about seems like a bad thing if this is what is happening.

I will chat with them now wish me luck lol.

But they said the offer is only for those who whave a PS4, they didn't say it was for every PS4 owner.

Well then I believe that is stupid really they say the offer is for those with a PS4 but not everyone with a PS4 hmmm sounds like a lot of disappointed people.

Yeah, I think they meant you need to have a PS4 to qualify, you probably also need to spend some money in movies or something like that.

Well it appears that everyone is supposed to get one who has a PS4 and logged into it.

However those of us that didn't receive anything won't be getting one as it was an automated service and they cannot give them out to individuals because they cannot guarantee the individuals didn't get a code and have kept it (scamming them) before trying to get another one which is stupid if you ask me.

So if you have not got one don't get your hopes up about contacting them.

I got the email and dont have a ps4. I do have a sony pictures account though and the movies were from sony pictures so maybe that had something to do with it.

The moviws redeem to ps4 which is retarded. It should have gone to sonypictures account so you coukd use it with vudu. I have my code which may work for ya gazra if you want it. I have all the movies anyway except anchorman 2

Well I could give it a shot when PSN is back online bud if you don't mind.

Not sure why I didn't get a code tbh I spend a fortune on games lol.

If it does not work it is no big loss I think I have most of the films anyway so I am not to bothered lol.

I own some PS4 games but I don't own a PS4, haven't logged in on a PS4, and have a PS4 registered to my account.

I don't have a Sony Pictures account of any kind. I have a Sony Rewards account and a PSN account. That's it. I have registered BluRay / DVD movies on Sony Rewards back when it wasn't 1 code per movie and I could just enter codes posted online.
