The top one is component, which are higher quality (up to 1080i)

The bottom is composite, the exact same cable you get included with the PS3. Don't bother with those.

These types of cables always have the L/R audio connections included, so if you don't use them that's fine, the cable will work the same. Just set up your audio appropriately for your system.

If you have one in your area, try your nearest Real Canadian Superstore before ordering online, the exact same Sony brand component cables should be $9.99 there and it comes with a bonus USB cable for charging your controller.

Unfortunately I don't have that sort of store anywhere around here :cry: Thanks for the info though, i nearly bought the second one :bomb:
