PS3 deal

OK so my ps3 just broke. It won't read discs anymore which sucks and the warrante is expired. Is there any ps3 deals that anyone is aware of or upcoming deals. By the time I sell my broken one on ebay the cost different won't be that much compared to getting it fixed. 150 to get it fixed. I can sell my broken one for around 100 as I researched this on ebay so not that big of a difference. Thanks for any info.

Did you try calling Sony and seeing if they'll still cover it under the warranty? Every once in a while they'll fudge the dates a bit. At the very least, it's worth a shot.

Yeah I am going to when I get home. This just happened before I left for work. I'm hoping that they do haha. Although I purchased it in October of 2007. You would think when you buy a video game system for hundreds of dollars it would work. Also you would think they would be a little bit more reasonable on the repair costs.
