This deal is so easy. Just goto Meijer and get an advertisement from the front of the store. Then goto the electonics department and pick up a PS3 40gb. Then take it to the customer service desk and run through a 1 minute Meijer card. Then buy it for 244.00.

The ad this week has a 15% off, and then when you sign up for the card you get a 20% off... Too bad I live in NY.

Anyways, if anyone can snag one for me I would pay for it and shipping.

Good luck

Deal of the century if you ask me .

On a similar topic :I got my 360 with 10% off because I used the Zellers card for the first time so that was pretty cool.

Could someone clarify the details on this for my future reference. As I understand it, there are three discounts:

1. There is a coupon for general merchandise [only one item or the entire purchase?] (15%)
2. There is an advertised percentage off if you use your Meijer credit card (20%)
3. If you are a first time user of a Meijer credit card you get another percentage off (10%)

Is that correct? This would make it 38.8% off [again, one item or the whole purchase?].

Also, I have some Meijers that are close enough to me to try to snag this deal the next time around, but not close enough to check their ads in person. Where can this info be found?

Please keep up the good work (keep posting these deals!) so I can jump in the next time these stars align.
Makes me wish I had a Meijers.
Makes me wish I could fuck Meijers. I love you so much Meijers, all these deals. Also you're open 24 hours and you're not scum like Wal-Mart. Why won't you come here and DESTROY Wal-Mart for me as well as giving me a 24 hour shop for games? Come to Kansas for crying out loud!

Also...if you're a Meijer regular this could help you out on this deal...

They're also giving a "$30 off General Merchandise" coupon for every $300's in Meijer Gift Cards that you buy. They're doing this in correlation with the Rebate Checks.

If you're gonna end up spending the money on groceries or what-not anyway, you could hypothetically buy a gift card (s) and then use the "$30 off" coupon to take even more off the price of your PS3.
No, not random actually. They are usually once a month, during the middle of the month, its either a frigging amazing coupon, or decent sales off of games.

Like today I got turning point fall of liberty for 16.99.
I was so excited for that game because i thought it was just like freedom fighters but i was disappointed. BIG TIME.
Any chance that the coupons will work on meijer.com?
They usually have a coupon code that is the same discount for online purchases.

This specific deal where they have the three stackable coupons is usually only around holidays. I got mine in February of 2006 Presidents Day Weekend. (The 20+15+10 stacker)

So anyone think this deal is going to be active again soon? Or is it active now? Memorial Day is Monday. I don't see how you can integrate the gift card deal in with it though, since I doubt you can use the discount buying a gift card. Someone feel free to explain the process here how to get the biggest deal.

New ad is out and you get 15% off with a meijer credit card (I think it is Sunday and monday). That should be chain wide. The credit card offers do vary by loaction, so you may see several different credit card offers. At meijer the computer usually stacks the discounts the best way to benefit a customer. 400 X .85 = 340 plus tax for current card holders.

For new card holders you get it for 340 - the discount at your store for signing up for a CC. (usually between 10-20%) some stores actually have a bonus too like $20 for signing up plus the 10%-20% off for 1 day. (You will receive the larget discount 1st automatically- if they have not changed their systems in recent months)

I have a Meijer 5 miles away but have absolutely no desire for a PS3;) I have a backlog of about 40 PS2 games to get through first..

Not at mine. They never have shit when it comes to deals except stuff like this to dump stock and B1G1 on -$20 titles.

Here is a crazy idea, but unfortunately, time seems to be running out (on the extra $30 - everything else should work fine). As quoted above, until 5/31 you can get that deal where, if you buy $300 in gift cards, you get an extra "$30 off general merchandise". Now if you apply for a SonyCard here you get $100 credited back to you after your first purchase of $299 or more (click the little yellow triangle to see). On slickdeals.net they have got it to work on gift cards from amazon.com, etc. Therefore, you could use it to buy $330 worth of Meijer gift cards plus the coupon's credit for $200.

Then you wait around for another 25% off general merchandise at Meijer and a 40GB PS3 is down to $300! Lucky for you, you have $330 worth of Meijer credit (gift cards and credit) to cover the tax and then some. So you get a PS3 for $200 including tax. (As long as the 25% stacks with the $30 credit - no reason that it wouldn't).

OR, wait around for the same sale with the same gift cards and coupon you bought with the SonyCard for the Metal Gear PS3 bundle. Now you could get the bundle for $245 plus tax (25% off of $500 is $375 minus $330 of gift cards = $45 plus $200 for buying the gift cards). An extra $45 for a great game, a better controller and a larger hard drive?! Count me in!

I might try to see if they extend the extra gift cards and then I might try it out (if I can convince my wife!).
