ps3 for cheap?

I just want the cheapest ps3 available. I don't really care about backwards compatibility or hard drive size. Appreciate any help. Thank you.
 
Its nothing but $50 gift cards when you buy it from pretty much any store and the cheapest used system at gamestop is 230. Ebay is saturated with alot of YLOD PS3s. Check Craigslist and maybe you can get lucky and find someone selling theirs for cheap or if you feel really lucky lurk at a Gamestop for someone to trade in their PS3 and try to buy it off of them. Its how I got my slim for $160 with Modern Warfare 2.
 
Trying to balance price and reliability I'd say that Amazon's Warehouse Deals is usually the best. You can find 160gb slims for 220-250 depending or so and they are often fairly pristine.

If you're going for absolute bargain basement then I'd say eBay or Craigslist but those are both fairly risky.
 
Thanks guys. I knew it was a longshot. I'll try out what you guys mentioned. I might be able to get a 80gb one for 180 from craigslist, is that a good price? Too good to be true? I know the risk sucks but on price alone, what do you think? I guess I'll have to go for the amazon deal at 250 or gamestop used. I'll make some visits this week and see what the stores have used.

Well I just got one from jjgames.com; a 40GB version for $148.xx after a 20% off code that was floating around (search the deal forum here on CAG to see if it's still valid). Of course it's used, but it seems to be working fine. The controller it came with has a 'squishy' L2 trigger so I'm going to see if they'll swap that out.
