Am I missing something here? These came out 2 months ago, they're at Frys all the time. Decent deal if you need a controller, sure, but nothing new here. Sounds from the OP like they went away and then returned now. I never noticed they went away. Guess it's YMMV but I see them all the time.

I've never seen them at major retailers. I know around christmas they had a controller + uncharted 1 or ratchet N clank, but those were black controllers

I saw a god of war collection bundle with a red controller at Gamestop today...I haven't seen this bundle before nor was it mentioned in that joystiq post from last month.

I saw the LBP bundle at Target and Walmart just the other day and thought it odd since I hadn't seen them in a while. Just today, I saw them at Gamestop but with GoW and a red controller.

Its tempting, but black probably makes more sense. Plus, I don't have LBP atm...

i highly recommend the clank in time bundle if you need a controller, it is the best game insomniac ever produced. it is gorgeous as hell and the powerups are super fun.
