PS3 help, blue ray skipping

So basically a brand new blue ray ( Disneys Frozen ) won't work on my 80 gig PS3. Well it works but it gets jumpy and skips whenever the chapter changes, and then seems to work until the next chapter. Any advice appreciated, Thanks.

Just that one or all bluray? Affect games?

Could be your diode is going bad.

Nothing with games just this one Blue Ray. I turned off BD live on the console but It's still doing it. It has done this with some blue rays but works fine with most. I wonder if there's another setting I can change. Perhapse the blus coding is different IDK, Thanks.

There is a chance that the Blu-Ray (not "Blue Ray", learn the difference) disc is defective.
