PS3 is made in???

Does anyone know is this first lot of PS3 that just sold out here in the USA made in Japan or China?

My PS2 is made in Japan but as I notice after a while PS2 now is all made in China.

I'm just curious.

I buy lots of stuff that are made in china. But when it comes to electronics my hesitation kicks in....

it is made in china. Well with the PSP it is the early model (made in Japan) that has problem.

there is difference in quality with stuff made in any country, its the QC of the original company that you need to worry about
