PS3 Lego LOTR 19.99 at Target. YMMV

CAGiversary!
Swung by my local Target yesterday (Washington Twp. NJ) and found Lego Lord of the Rings for $19.99, down from $39.99 usually. Snapped it right up since I'd had my eye on it for a little while because it was a good combination of two geek interests of mine.

Just a heads-up for those of you looking around for a quick LOTR fix. At least it has the original voices, not the old Lego grunts.

It didn't have the yellow "Clearance" tag on it, so I'm assuming it's a temporary price drop.

360 version was this price (with the sale tag) at my Target yesterday. Thinking about snatching it up...anybody have strong recommendations one way or the other?

I've played it on both Wii and 360 and I'd say it's excellent for that price, not an amazing game but definitely fun. I beat it within a rental period though, so keep that in mind when dropping $20 on it!

It also shows this price on target.com so I was able to price match it at Best Buy when I was in there picking up Bioshock earlier today. However, it only shows the PS3 version at $19.99. If you are looking for a portable version, Gamestop is selling new copies of the 3DS and Vita versions also for $19.99. I started playing the 3DS version. It has a little bit of the open world stuff, but not near as much as the console versions. Also, some cutscenes seem to be edited or cut short on the portable versions. But still, a great pickup for 3DS or Vita.

Amazon has been selling the 3DS and Vita versions for $14.99 for a couple of days now

Target's had it at this price since Sunday - I'd know because I was up at 5AM putting the new sale tags out in electronics.

Also, sales/price drops are never YMMV when it comes to Target, unless it's clearance (then it's obviously a huge YMMV).
