Anyway back on subject. The reason why the 360 has had so much modding is because the insides are so similar to a PC. I'm sure we might see a few basic shell mods, but it's gonna be much harder to mod a ps3 if you've seen people take them apart. The internals are far more complex and compacted.

the ps3 is sexy enough as it is.
though some gangstaz are gonna pimp that shit wit some LEDs everywhere you can stick em and replace the shell with an all-chrome casing with ground effectz.

You can put stupid looking lights and rice out your PS3 to make it look as shitty as your car inevitably does, but you could also spend that money on something that would actually make it better... y'know, a nice HDTV, surround sound.... hell, just throwing the money away is a better use than desecrating your PS3.
