The other deals have you paying full price, but you're getting extra stuff. This deal has you paying less than retail.

Of course like the last poster said, shipping kind of kills the deal. $6 plus change shipping for the cheapest shipping, or you can pick it up in store if you have a Fry's nearby.
 
It's good games but i rarely spend any game over $30 or more. It'll drop down some days or pick up at BBV and rent it for a week ;)
 
Shipping is $6 but it still comes out a $1 less or so than if you paid full price elsewhere + the $10 GC. I'd rather pay less upfront, then get a silly GC that force me to buy something else to cash in on it.
 
Indeed...they have HUGE financial problems.....This is a pretty good deal if you ask me....its like 55 bucks for a new game with shipping and tax that its not even out...feels like buying PS2 games again xD
 
FamilyVideo is a better deal at 52.99 for Resistance 2.

No tax for me and 1.99 shipping or free shipping if you use the code from the other thread.

I believe that Amazon and Gamestop/EB are currently the only places you can get a CE of Resistance 2. And I don't think they have deals on them.

I got mine with the gold box discount ($4 off). It's just a bit disheartening to see that the regular edition is getting a much better deal.
 
Ordered with a few under-$15 blu-rays to lessen the blow from shipping.

Ace Combat 6 is $25 on there. Pretty good price for it, I'd add it in with one of these pre-orders, only costs a few cents more to ship two games.
 
is it just me, or does it say "In Stock, same day shipping"? and when i select instore pickup, it has no problems... anyone tried to order it? lucky me i left my wallet at home today! hooray!
 
I just called and confirmed that it is shipping and I had it overnighted andI should hopefully have my copy by tommorrow

Well I went there on Tuesday to pick up Fallout 3, and it was 53 bucks just like it said online. However it was only good on launch day, so it might be the same thing with Gears 2. I hope so, because I plan on getting it there now.
 
I just went to Best Buy and had them price match the pre-order from Fry's. In store pickup from a closer store = score!
Also at Circuit City I tried to use the $15 off coupon on a purchase of $100 or more, on Dead Space and Fallout 3, but since they both receive gift cards, the system wouldn't let me use the $15 coupon. Bummer.
 
yeah it now says 'available for pre-order'.. im headed over there to get my in-store pickup in a couple hours, so i'll update after that! hopefully they won't realize that the game isn't for sale yet!
 
not available for in store pickup, they are aware that it wont be sold until tuesday.. but since i already ordered it (at $47.99) im hoping that i wont get screwed on the price. guess we'll see on tuesday... damn you guys that got it shipped already! growl
 
My order with Resistance 2 and Gears 2 shipped last night. Estimated delivery is tomorrow, so I actually get GoW2 a day early. Thanks again for posting this deal OP. ^_^
