PS3 Supercomputer

Another problem lies in limited speed for double-precision calculations required by scientific applications, but announcements for the next-generation Cell processor address this issue.

I'm not buying a PS3 until they up the speed for double-precision calculations. They want $600 for a measley single-precision calculating piece of shit? Pft. It's over. Sony is finished.

Funny, all my schools have always said they couldn't get money for new text books.... :whistle2:k I guess I know why now...

I wonder what games the professor got for himself to go along when he ordered the 8 PS3's. He must have envisioned himself being bored in his office at times...
